Hello BCGS Family,

It’s Oyster Creek tine – always in June.  The singing has been at Oyster Creek in June since way before I started helping God handle it, WOW, what a way to go!!  June 26th ---Oyster Creek  First Baptist Church – can’t hardly wait.  Time to bring praises to our Lord and see old friends again.  Sometimes  once a year seems like a long time to wait to get together at any one church again but God’s in charge and He knows what He’s doing!  We’re gonna party like crazy.  This is a small church so lets fill-er-up, sure we can, just depend on God as always.  Grab that old friend you haven’t seen in awhile – or anybody else – put on your “Shoutin’ Shoes” and we’ll have a shoutin’ good ole time, as always.  Remember June 26th  -- Oyster Creek First Baptist Church.  See you there for a fabulous praise time.

Last month –wow – wow – wow – we were at New Hope In Jesus Church, at Brazoria.  New church, first time for lots of things, boy was this great!  Communion  being offered was new – I thought it was a nice way to start, hope you did also.  Thanks for doing that Bro. Gandy and members of New Hope In Jesus.  What a great name to give one of God’s Churches, way to go!  Bro. and Mrs. Gandy, thanks to you and your members for allowing BCGS to come and praise our Lord and Savior with all of you.  Devil tried to stick his nose in and make trouble (as always) but we just shoved him back out the door!  Thanks Bro. Gandy for praying that the Devil be removed from our presence.  Golly Roy we sure did miss you as MC but a grandsons wedding rehearsal just had to come first!  May God bless this young couple always.  Gee, Keith you did a superb job as MC, but then you always do.  Thanks for always being ready to fill in –you’re great, love ya.  Sound – is a job nobody really finds easy but to not be expecting to have to run the sound, Bro. and Mrs. Gandy you did a fantastic job of it, thanks a million.  Bet next year you’ll have a sound guy there, right.  Hah-hah.  We  had 14 people to bring praise and worship, wow what a mighty God we do have.  Had a great bunch of receivers there to be blessed also.  Have to have both, don’t ya know.  Thanks tremendously to all of you for coming out to the different churches to help bring glory to our God!  This is what Gods family is all about!  The offering was a magnificent  $57.24.  See how awesome our God is.  May God bless the gift and the giver.  Thanks to all of you, this is what keeps the newsletter going out.  Gosh  the food was fantastic ladies, boy oh boy was that a spread, wow.  You did a super great job of feeding a bunch of ole hungry praise worshipers, thanks again.

We need to remember each other every day in our prayers.  Haven’t gotten an update on Mary Presley but keep her in your prayers.  She was in the hospital with pneumonia while we held this last praise party.  Hope to see you soon Mary.  Hope your feeling better Sybil, our prayers are with you and Ken.  Our Armed Foresees along with their families need to be on our prayer list too.   All EMS workers continually need our prayer too, along with all our government offices.  We did get the Memorial Service for Sandra Weems done on May 23, 09.Thanks to everyone for all you did.  Thanks especially to those of you connected with BCGS for helping out with the praise.  Judy, Bonnie and the rest of you – you made it special.  Emily, Sharon, Johnny, Dalton, myself, TC and Jerrith thank you again!

Need  to go and get my fingers limbered up to type this.  Hah-hah.  Yep – they do get kinda stiff once in awhile.  BCGS family remember to try to help out with drinks, snacks, etc. even though the hosting church does furnish the majority of the fellowship food, thanks.  Be sure to get your shoutin’ shoes ready for June 26th – Oyster Creek First Baptist Church.   Grab that friend now (old or new) and bring them on out for a shoutin’ party they will never forget.  I can hardly wait, but then you know how I am.  See you there.  Till then , I pray that God will keep you safe in the palm of His hand.  Love ya all!

The Lord is my Strength and my [impenetrable] Shield; my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him.
