Hello BCGS Family,
Hope all of you had a “bang” up good time on the fourth of July, hah—hah. Wow, July---Wild Peach here we come! I’m excited about this month cause it’s a new church and I hope everybody comes on out to help stretch those walls. I’m hoping the church members will take part in the praise and worship on July 23 --- yep July 23 --- Wild Peach Community Church ---- Brazoria, Texas. Mark your calendars so you don’t forget! They are getting ready for a Hallelujah night just like we are. It takes the love of Jesus – some shoutin’ shoes – clapping hands and grabbin’ the spirit of our Lord to do that and that’s something we can do! Start practicing your shoutin’ - clapping – and all joyful noise’s cause there gonna be used that night, right, Bro. Breazeale? REMEMBER July 23 – Wild Peach Community Church – Brazoria, Texas. I’m expecting to see you there!
Last month – Oyster Creek First Baptist Church. WOW It always is a wow. Devil tried his best to dump some clouds on us by not letting the sound system work, but guess what---it didn’t work -- # different units refused to work but the 4 one ,yea – God pulled it through. Faith, people, faith! A hugh thanks to Oyster Creek First Baptist Church and all their members for allowing BCGS to come worship our Jesus with them. It was magnificent! Keith, you did an outstanding job as MC, we love ya guy. Thanks so much for doing this job! Archie – Archie, nerves of steel, you did a fantastic job with the sound once we got a unit to work. Thank you so very much. Praise and worshipers, wow, there were 13 there. See how our Lord does bless. A special thanks to all of you for being there. Receivers, were there by the bushels, we couldn’t do without you, a special thank you to you all. This is called “gospel music” cause the “gospel” is what we’re spreading through song. The spirit of the Lord was there and so great. I pray you were as blessed as I was. The church offering was a super wow--$58.53, amazing huh. A mail in offering of $50.00 was also received, now see how our Lord provides! May God greatly bless the gift and the giver. Now to the food – words can’t describe it – fabulous, as always, ladies! Homemade cobbler, (told you it would be there) fruit salad—umm-m-m. Just gobs and gobs of great vittles for us ‘ole praise worshipers and receivers. Was worth waiting for, let me tell ya. You ladies are superb!
Prayer request --- Robert Patton (Julie Patton’s husband) needs prayer – he needs to have a defibrillator placement but if I understood right they have been putting it off because of other health problems, so please keep him in your daily prayers. Mary Presley has been battling bronchitis for a spell now, she need your prayers. Keep Angleton 2nd Baptist Church in prayer for a singing (BCGS) in February of 2011. They need someone to open and close the church for this. We need an Angleton Church! Have mentioned to Valasco Baptist Church’s new Pastor (Bro. Nathan Otto) that we needed an October,2010 date and would like to be able to return there, so this also we need prayer for. God always works everything out, it just takes faith and prayer! Our Government desperately needs our prayers, as you know. All EMS persons need prayer every day. Then there’s our Military and their families who need daily prayer. We – Jerrith, TC, and myself still covet your prayers. Jerrith is still trying to get new meds down and it is really tough for me, so keep us in prayer daily. I have felt your prayers and I thank you so much. Don’t know what we would do without our singing family. Now for a couple of praises --- Frances French’s sister is doing so very much better. Thanks to all of you for your prayers. Bill Parsons is doing a whole lot better also, thanks for those prayers. God can’t help but listen when so many petition.
Must scoot and get this typed, time’s running out. Oh, by the way, BJ Norton is having there singing on July 16th in Algoa (between Alvin and Santa Fe on Hwy.6.) Full Gospel Lighthouse Church – 4600 Hallaway Road. Phone contact—cell—832-876-9489. REMEMBER – JULY 23ed - Wild Peach Community Church - Brazoria. Like I said I’m expecting you to come out with a car load cause we’re gonna stretch those walls! Bring warmed up clappin’ hands -- shoutin’ voices and shoes – an abundance of joy and all the people you can grab a hold of. Those of you who wish to bring something in the way of drinks etc. go ahead but Wild Peach said they wanted to furnish all the fellowship food. Please try to stay for the fellowship cause that’s when we get to know each other better. Wow just can’t hardly wait. Gotta go, so by for now. May God keep you safe in the palm of His hand till we meet again. See ya there!
I will sing of mercy and loving-kindness and justice; to You, O Lord, will I sing.
